IS YOUR ARREST AND
CRIMINAL CASE
About to Ruin Your
Life?
Always fight for
your freedom!
Demand to
exercise your
constitutional
rights!
Always invoke
your right to
remain silent,
and immediately
seek the advice
of a lawyer
before you make
any statements
to anyone,
especially to a
law enforcement
officer!
Don’t take a
"deal" until
you’ve consulted
with a lawyer!
When
you face the
possibility of
arrest or you’ve
been arrested for a
crime, you need a
lawyer who will
aggressively defend
your rights … assure
you’re treated
fairly … and gets
results.
I’m that lawyer!
Are you confused?
Embarrassed? Angry!?
Scared? I understand
how fearful you are
of what may have
happened to you. The
criminal justice
process of being
arrested, hauled off
to jail handcuffed,
fingerprinted and
mug shot taken, and
subjected to a body
cavity search was
probably the most
dehumanizing
experience you’ve
had in your life.
Especially, if
you’re innocent!
Any criminal charge
involving a
misdemeanor or
felony can have
serious
consequences:
incarceration in
jail or prison;
restrictive
probation conditions
- one of which may
be search and
seizure, meaning law
enforcement can
search your home or
car at any time - or
parole; loss of a
professional or
driver’s license;
loss of your right
to possession of a
firearm for a
minimum of ten
years, or life;
hefty fines;
required attendance
at government
controlled programs.
All because someone
merely said you did
something wrong.
Allow Me To Provide
You With Aggressive
Legal Representation
To Protect Your
Rights And To Secure
Your Freedom
Do not roll over and
play dead! More
times than not, the
best thing to do is
fight! The district
attorney is required
to prove each and
every element of a
crime before a jury
beyond a reasonable
doubt. Just because
somebody said
something that was
written down in a
police report that
doesn’t mean it will
see the light of day
in court, but
remember, the
district attorney
prosecutes a case
with the intent to
use all of the fine
legal points
available to
him/her.
My belief is make’em
prove it! My goal is
to make sure your
rights are protected
each and every step
of the way in the
convoluted
proceedings
contained within the
criminal justice
system. My practice
is to zealously and
to diligently
represent you
throughout the
entire process.
While I consider
settlement offers, I
will not settle a
case without your
input and
authorization. I
take a tough stance
to protect your
rights. I demand all
evidence be provided
to the defense! I
raise appropriate
exclusionary or
limiting motions
that affect the
introduction of
evidence! I
challenge the
district attorney
and prosecution
witnesses at every
opportunity! I
reveal the
weaknesses in the
case!
Unfortunately,
because each
criminal case is
unique, I cannot
guarantee the
outcome of your
case. Judges often
rule on points of
law differently. One
jury may decide the
guilt of a person
while another jury
would not. But rest
assured that I will
champion your case
with your best
interest in mind.
You’ll
get expert legal
assistance from a
lawyer who has spent
thirty-five years in
the criminal justice
system - as a cop,
as an attorney, and
as a pro tem judge -
handling everything
from traffic tickets
to first degree
murder. And,
throughout the
process, I will be
in contact with the
district attorney to
discuss the merits
of your case. Of
course, in most
cases you will
receive copies of
the police reports
and other documents
or photographs
(called discovery).
What Does It Take To
Get Started?
A free initial
consultation by
phone call, or a
comfortable
visit in my
office.
Copies of any
documents you
have relating to
the case
(including next
court date).
Brief outline of
the facts, as
you know them.
List of
potential
witnesses and
what they saw.
While we talk I will
analyze the basic
facts of your case.
Only then will I
provide you an
opinion about it,
which, among other
things, will include
my recommendations
as to a defense to
the charge, and an
explanation of the
criminal justice
process and your
rights.
Do not concern
yourself if you are
presently
represented by
either a
court-appointed
attorney, a public
defender, or you
have previously
retained another
attorney. If you
desire, I can be
substituted in as
attorney of record
in the case and the
other attorney will
be released.
Regardless of what
you decide at the
conclusion of the
initial
consultation, I
guarantee that
you’ll be
knowledgeable as to
what to expect in
the criminal justice
process and,
therefore, able to
make informed
decisions about how
to proceed in your
case.
It’s risk-free, so
give me a call!
